Compass Pointe has partnered with a global financial company in the Owings Mills, MD area that is looking for a Services Engineer. This position will focus on developing and maintaining services/applications using Java/Spring Boot, Python, or NodeJS. Knowledge of automated testing of data is a plus.REQUIREMENTS:
Latest Java - Streams API, Java Lambdas, Java Generics.AWS (Amazon Web Services) certified (Developer or Architect (Associate/Professional)).SQL experience and knowledge of relational databases (Analytical and Operational).Latest Spring Boot.Microservice development experience.Knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker.Hands-on experience with Unix.Hands-on unit testing with Junit/pytest.Mock testing using the mockit framework.Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript/Typescript (especially for developing AWS Lambdas).Working knowledge of version control system Git.Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Gradle, Maven, GitLab-CI, Jenkins.DESIRED SKILLS:
Reactive Java.Reactive Spring.Rx Java.Test automation experience.Front-end frameworks like ReactJS and/or Angular.Knowledge of Apigee, building proxies with Apigee.
