This role will serve as the Chief of Staff of the Data Team within the DAiS organization and be responsible for all Business Operations of the Domain, partnering with the other Chiefs of Staffs from other Domains.Your Way to Impact:Ability to influence up, down and across different levels of employees and stakeholders – lots of visibility to Sr. and Executive Leaders.Serve as an advisor to Sr. Leadership.Opportunity to see broadly across the organization and integrate with other Partner Functions like Finance, HR, etc.Your Day to Day:In your day to day you will:Drive strategic and financial planning for the Data Team to support roadmap and strategic objectives.Drive continual improvement around operational excellence: track key performance indicators, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead execution of plans to address these.Establish and drive operating rhythms to ensure effective communication, partnership and delivery. Drive business insights through data and analytics; build an Operational Excellence dashboard that captures effective and relevant metrics.Track and manage financial budgets and drive resource planning.Drive strategic planning to ensure appropriate processes and controls around risk and compliance for Infrastructure and Reliability as the business grows and the product portfolio evolves.What You Need to Bring:Strategy & Communications Management - Strong Story-Telling skills – written and oral.Strong Relationship building skills – internal and external stakeholders and partners.Ability to get into the weeds and synthesize information and data in a concise way.Strong ability to multi-task.Nice to Haves:Technical acumen especially in the Reliability and Infrastructure areas.Financial acumen.PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
