Civil Litigation/Bankruptcy Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled and experienced Civil Litigation/Bankruptcy Attorney to join its team in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the firm’s litigation team, handling a variety of cases with a focus on commercial litigation and bankruptcy law. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility for the right candidate. The ideal attorney will have strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, along with a proven track record in litigation and trial work.Duties:Conduct thorough legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and arguments.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals, with attention to detail and legal accuracy.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they are informed throughout the legal process.Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials, ensuring all necessary preparations are made for successful outcomes.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management and resolution.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in Florida.At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with specific experience in trial work and bankruptcy cases.Strong legal research and writing abilities, with experience drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.Excellent oral advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients in court effectively.Familiarity with legal administrative tasks and processes.A proactive, client-focused attitude with the ability to handle complex cases independently.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the Florida Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing, including using platforms like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.Strong oral advocacy and courtroom skills.Ability to manage litigation cases from start to finish, including trial preparation and client interaction.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Knowledge of bankruptcy law and commercial litigation is preferred.Company infoBCG Attorney Search801 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900MiamiFloridaUnited States 33131Phone :
