We also have international offices in Montreal, Canada, and Zurich, Switzerland, and are expanding across Europe.The Associate Director, Marketing will support the development of portfolio assets. The Associate Director, Marketing will drive cross-functional collaboration and tactical alignment, ensuring success in the US and across the globe. This individual will lead the development of commercial deliverables, including market development and product adoption. This person will lead a strategic role on commercial product teams, work closely with Market Insights, Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and other key stakeholders, and should feel at home in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, strategic prowess, leadership, and a proven ability to influence the organization. The Associate Director, Marketing will report to the Sr. Director, Portfolio Marketing.Responsibilities
Serve as the commercial representative on the Product TeamsSupport development and implementation of global brand strategy, identifying opportunities and critical issues that can impact the brandDevelop brand planning, positioning, messaging, brand name work, and brand imageryDevelop insights on the external environment, market shaping initiatives, competitive landscape assessments, payer/reimbursement requirements, and unmet medical needsHelp identify and support the development of key opinion leadersUncover and address unmet needs by seeking expert insights, arranging and conducting advisory boardsComplete market opportunity assessments and make recommendations on future indications/label expansionsLead agile, cross-functional team to develop/launch innovative marketing campaigns that will inspire behavioral change and drive brand growth; ensure aligned launch execution across functionsDevelop and track metrics to measure and ensure the success of marketing/promotional programsDrive innovative approaches and address untapped opportunitiesWork with the market insights team to develop forecasting assumptions and modelsCoordinate closely with Omni-channel marketing lead to build an effective customer engagement ecosystemPartner with Medical Affairs on publication planning and medical education strategiesPartner with Value and Access to help develop the value proposition and access/reimbursement strategiesPresent business updates to the Senior Team and partner with regional teams to ensure diverse commercial insights are brought into the planning processNo matter your role at BridgeBio, successful team members are:Patient Champions, who put patients first and uphold strict ethical standardsEntrepreneurial Operators, who drive toward practical solutions and have an ownership mindsetTruth Seekers, who are detailed, rational, and humble problem solversIndividuals Who Inspire Excellence in themselves and those around themHigh-quality executors, who execute against goals and milestones with quality, precision, and speedEducation, Experience & Skills Requirements
5+ years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience, with at least four years in MarketingSuccessful launch experience in a competitive market is preferredRare disease experience preferredDemonstrated ability to develop actionable insights from complex clinical data and market researchUnderstanding of the drug development process, especially regarding opportunities for differentiation and value demonstrationStrong leadership skills and ability to influence functional stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding executionExcellent oral, written, and presentation skillsAbility to travel (~20%) is requiredPassionate about serving patients suffering from Genetic diseasesHigh-level strategic thinking, with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategyProven self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a teamAble to handle full workload across multiple projectsCollaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align on strategy and executionHigh level of self-awareness and understanding of the importance of self-monitoring behavior for continuous improvementTrue entrepreneurial spirit – BridgeBio was built to do things differently and address the needs of underserved populations, driven by science and unrelenting passion for patientsWhat We Offer
