US Consulting - Master Data Management – Manager – Industrials & Energy Sector
The opportunity
EY's Industrial Products team is seeking a Master Data Management Manager focusing on helping our clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strategic vision and a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, including vehicle automation, connectivity, business and manufacturing process, and enterprise AI — complemented by a solid track record of delivery. The individual should be ready to guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies. Your key responsibilities
Cloud Data Stewardship: Employ advanced Cloud Data Integration (CDI) tools to facilitate efficient data integration within the cloud. Application Convergence: Execute Cloud Application Integration (CAI) strategies to ensure uninterrupted interconnectivity amongst diverse applications. Data Integrity Assurance: Implement cutting-edge DQ tools and processes to maintain impeccable data standards throughout the infrastructure. API Architecting: Craft and execute sophisticated APIs tailored to meet a variety of integration needs. Analytical Collaboration: Engage in meticulous requirement gathering, interpret Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and collaborate with system analysts to develop comprehensive source-to-target mappings. Deeply involve in strategic design, implementation, and optimization of data management solutions using Informatica, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving data governance and integration across the enterprise. Data Scrutiny: Conduct thorough examinations of data within source databases prior to migration into data warehouses and generate detailed technical specifications in alignment with BRDs. Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and client satisfaction. Activities will include Architecting, pipeline building, RFP responses, creating new solutions and offerings, conducting workshops as well as managing in-flight projects. The candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of direct involvement with Informatica IDMC SaaS development or equivalent MDM tool including a deep understanding of both Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The individual must exhibit a high level of expertise in CDI (Cloud Data Integration) and CAI (Cloud Application Integration), coupled with a robust foundation in API development, preferably within the Informatica framework. Should have experience in CDQ (Cloud Data Quality) along with profiling experience in CDP (Cloud Data Profiling). Knowledge of future trends/changes in the industry and the ability to articulate these to customers. Benchmark design, development, delivery knowledge. Expert knowledge of any of the cloud technologies. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and drive business outcomes. Proven ability to research and provide insights on industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecasts. To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field. Minimum 8 years of professional experience with a significant focus on the advanced manufacturing and mobility sector. Demonstrated leadership in managing a portfolio of large, complex projects and initiatives within the autonomous mobility space. A valid driver’s license in the US; willingness and ability to travel internationally to meet client needs. A track record of successful stakeholder engagement and the ability to maintain and grow business relationships. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $124,300 to $227,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $149,200 to $259,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
