6+ years as a product designer at consumer or Enterprise technology companyStrong understanding of design principles, user experience, and usability best practicesDemonstrated experience working closely with product and engineering to ship and iterate on customer-facing productsThorough knowledge of UX research approaches and methodologiesFamiliarity with modern developer platforms and ecosystemsProven ability to turn research results into product designsAbility to influence a range of audiences and manage multiple projects concurrentlyResponsibilities
You will be a key designer leader in our new design group, focusing on a mix of designing from scratch embedded banking experiences, redesigns of SaaS banking products and contributing to and extending our FIS design systemBeyond this you will help shape the design culture and work hand in hand with product, engineering, and others to launch and ship high quality products to our customers and usersDrive and leverage customer insights to define the requirements of end-to-end product experiences and featuresDesign product experiences for a mix of developer, mobile and SaaS productsLead design sprints and design planning processes as part of the product lifecycleDeliver final designs to engineering and stay closely involved throughout to see them to launchDevelop and maintain design systems that can be applied across financial software productsConduct design sprints and exercises to ideate and create exceptional user experiencesDrive the cultural shift towards a design-forward environment by establishing and implementing design-oriented mechanisms and operating systemsBenefits
