Job OverviewWe are in search of a highly experienced and forward-thinking Vice President of Strategic Sales to spearhead the growth of our warehousing and transportation services across the United States. This leadership role involves strategizing to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and driving significant growth within the company's strategic portfolios. If you possess a robust sales leadership background with a successful history in the 3PL and logistics sectors, we encourage you to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesGain an in-depth understanding of the company's service offerings to effectively articulate solutions to clients.Establish and maintain a powerful sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and direct engagements, leading to successful deal closures.Oversee the customer acquisition process from initial introduction to contract finalization, including needs analysis, RFI/RFP execution, solution development, pricing strategies, and presentations.Ensure ongoing account management with a focus on the commercial dynamics of client relationships to stimulate continued growth.Design and implement a strategic business plan aimed at surpassing sales targets and driving revenue increment.Remain updated on industry trends and competitor movements to uphold a competitive advantage.Oversee customer data, sales forecasting, and pipeline management utilizing a CRM system.Collaborate closely with the operations team to meet and exceed customer expectations.Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across various levels within client organizations.Assist in the onboarding process to ensure seamless transitions and satisfaction for all stakeholders.Promote the comprehensive range of supply chain and transportation services to both existing and potential clients.Willingness to travel as required (minimum of 50% travel).Required SkillsBachelor's degree (BA/BS) or higher preferred.Over 10 years of experience in the 3PL & Contract Logistics industry.15-20 years of progressive sales experience in transportation, warehouse operations, and freight forwarding.Demonstrated success with a solution-oriented sales methodology, particularly within sectors such as Retail, E-Commerce, CPG, Home Goods, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Electronics, Technology, and Automotive.Proficiency with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and other sales-related technologies.Mastery of solution-based sales techniques (e.g., Miller Heiman methodology).A passionate commitment to customer success, with the capability to drive exceptional experiences from initial engagement to contract execution.QualificationsStrong attention to detail and strategic thinking capabilities.A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in fast-paced environments.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.A results-driven mindset, motivated by business growth and development.Career Growth OpportunitiesAs a member of our team, you will have access to extensive professional development opportunities and a clear pathway for career advancement within a dynamic organization committed to fostering future leaders in the logistics industry.Employment Type: Full-Time
