and follow us on Twitter and Instagram @TheLegendsWay.THE ROLELegends is currently seeking to fill a position as Assistant Project Manager (APM) based in the Los Angeles/San Diego area for projects that are in the current portfolio of SVPs, VPs, and PMs based in the area. The APM will report to senior personnel and will be responsible for managing and implementing the day-to-day project management activities from design through turnover and closeout of the project. The APM will interact with the design team and construction team in a collaborative approach for the effective execution of the work. We are looking for industry professionals with previous experience in sports, entertainment and cultural venue development preferred.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMonitor and guide progress of design team and construction team on the following project elements: Structural, architectural, interiors, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low voltage and foodservice, and as required to support the project managers.Monitor project budgets and adherence by all parties to the agreed budgets regarding the above-described responsibilities.Monitor adherence to the agreed project schedule and bring to attention of senior management deviations.Report on quality of the work and manage resolution of all non-compliance items including jobsite inspections.Assist in management / tracking all permits, submittals, RFIs, drawings, inspections, and approvals.Assist in maintaining current project files associated with the assigned tasks.Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and meeting minutes.QUALIFICATIONSCollege degree and bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering, building construction, or engineering is preferred but not required if applicant has some demonstrated knowledge of the construction industry.College graduate or 1 to 2 years of experience as project engineer, project manager or construction administration representative for a design, construction, or project management firm.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, quickly establishing credibility with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of web-based collaboration tools.Ability to multi-task and produce all deliverables in a timely manner.Applicant must have the ability to work effectively in multiple fast-paced jobsite environments.Must be flexible to work non-traditional hours and various project site locations due to the accelerated nature of the projects.COMPENSATION

Competitive salary $75,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.WORKING CONDITIONS
