Salary Range:
$130,000-$180,000, based on experience, knowledge and skillsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESQualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:Build and manage relationships with End Users, Architect/Interior Designers, Flooring Contractors, and key distribution partners with the objective of establishing trust to build ongoing partnerships developing into salesIdentify new project opportunities using the influence of A&D firms, end users and flooring contractorsDevelop new prospects and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase territory market opportunitiesWork with regional and national counterparts to identify and close cross-selling opportunitiesCreate and execute tactical sales-driving marketing campaigns, special events and sponsorships that help increase brand awareness, build relationships, and achieve sales goalsPrepare accurate sales projections and provide forecast information for team planning purposesUtilize CRM daily to manage pipeline, individual project updates and key account informationAssist Management in establishing Annual / Quarterly / Monthly Strategy and Sales PlansAssist Management in identification of product voids or improvementsOther duties as assignedTRAVELWill require in field travel of 75-80%, with travel/overnight stays 50% of that timeKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESExcellent communication and listening skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and OutlookStrong presentation, networking and negotiation skillsGood judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsAbility to work with a diverse group of peopleQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experienceExperience working in an outside sales role calling on a varied client baseFlooring product knowledge preferredProven success selling to large corporate clientsKnowledge of specifications, design and phases requiredStrong understanding of construction, real estate and job site conditionsWORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and sitThe employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focusWork overtime as neededValid driver’s license with a clear driving record per AHF Products policy and proof of automobile insuranceMENTAL DEMANDSThink analyticallyDevelop options and implement solutionsWork with a teamMaintain regular and punctual attendance (consistent with ADA and/or FMLA)Multitask in a fast pace environmentWork with a Sense of Urgency
