Abridge is looking for a

QA Lead

to join our growing team! You'll play a key role in driving quality assurance efforts across our products and managing a team of QA testers. You'll ensure our mobile applications, web, and integrated products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user experience. You'll establish and continuously improve QA processes and best practices. And you’ll help drive quality strategy for the future.What You’ll Do

Partner with the VP of Product Engineering and other engineering leaders to define, lead, and execute on the QA strategy for AbridgeManage, mentor, and grow a team of QA testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvementLead the QA team in designing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and integration test automation to ensure product qualityCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to understand requirements, provide input on testability, and align QA efforts with product goalsDrive the development and maintenance of integration test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverageEstablish and maintain QA processes, best practices, and quality metrics to measure and report on product qualityIdentify and prioritize quality issues, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely resolutionAdvocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle and promote a quality-focused mindset across the organizationWhat You’ll Bring

7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing QA teamsStrong experience with mobile application testing with Maestro, including both iOS and Android platformsExpertise in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and integration test automationAbility to act with autonomy & self-direction while working well in a team environmentWillingness to pitch in wherever needed - as a fast-moving startup we need to do good work, quicklyAbility to think strategically and drive quality initiatives across the organizationProficiency in Javascript for test automationExperience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Appium, Selenium, or EspressoBonus points if you have experience with any of the following: accessibility testing, localization testing, or testing in regulated industries such as healthcareBase Salary:

$190,000 USD - $235,000+ USD per year + Equity

The salary range provided is based on transparent pay guidelines and is an estimate for candidates residing in the San Francisco and New York City metro areas. The actual base salary will vary depending on the candidate's location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Additionally, this role may include the opportunity to participate in a company stock option plan as part of the total compensation package.Must be willing to work from our SF or NY office at least 3x per weekThis position requires a commitment to a hybrid work model, with the expectation of coming into the office a minimum of (3) three times per week. Relocation assistance is available for candidates willing to move to San Francisco or New York.Must be willing to travel up to 10%Why Work at Abridge?
