is recruiting for the following opportunity:Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is looking for an IP litigation attorney with at least 3 years of intellectual property (primarily patent) litigation experience.Ideally, you will have experience pertaining to various aspects of patent infringement litigation (i.e., development of strategies; conducting discovery; preparing infringement and invalidity contentions, technical and damages expert witness reports, expert witnesses for deposition, trial related motions and other pleadings; cross examination of experts; drafting jury instructions, etc.). Some travel will be required.Jury or bench trial experience is not absolutely required, but any such experience would certainly be valued. There will also be the opportunity to support trademark litigations, thus any such additional IP litigation experience is not required, but would certainly be valued. Since the primary focus will be patent litigation, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics is strongly preferred, and a graduate level technical degree would be a plus. A USPTO license and/or prior experience as a judicial clerk would also be valued here.Even though this firm is highly progressive and fully taking advantage of the technology necessary to hire such an associate or Of Counsel on a remote basis, this is still a very collegial team environment, and video conferencing is actively used as a very effective tool. Subsequently, strong interpersonal skills are certainly required. You will need to have a solid employment history, strong references, excellent academic credentials, and a general passion for the dynamic specialization of IP litigation.Additional Notes for Candidates:All fees are paid by client firms and companies. As a consequence of our reputation for having integrity and providing results, we often work on exclusive assignments that are not advertised.Another important distinction is that we work directly with the decision makers (i.e. partners, managing counsels, etc.) that make the determinations regarding who will be interviewed, who will be extended an offer, etc.You have our express commitment that all information is accepted in confidence and that no resumes are submitted without first speaking to you and obtaining your explicit permission.PLEASE APPLY OR INQUIRE HERE:iprecruiter.com/ip-jobs-c.htm
