Tampa, FLS2Technologies is currently looking for Software Developer candidates to join our team at MacDill AFB.The Software Developer will create, maintain, and enhance the functionality of a variety of software applications. Responsibilities include determining technical requirements by analyzing customer needs, working with teams to resolve issues, prioritizing needs, developing criteria, and choosing solutions. The role also includes writing and evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, properly structured, and well documented.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:3+ years of experience developing various programming languages within a DoD environment.Experience with .NET core/6 or later.Experience with React frontends.Familiarity with Static Site Generation (SSG) and Server-side Rendering (SSR) concepts.Experience with containers.Experience with Docker/containers.Familiarity with microservice architecture.Familiarity with AWS/Azure container-related services.Experience with Git and GitHub, Azure Repo, and Bitbucket.Ability to operate effectively with a high level of independence.Strong willingness to quickly explore and learn new skills.Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.Education:BS or BA preferred, but not required.Certifications:IAT-II certification preferred.Must be able to obtain an IAT-II certification within the first 90 days of hire.Security Clearance:Must be a U.S. citizen and possess at minimum an Interim Secret clearance.S2Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
