Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.This role is for a Senior Product Manager - Technical in Kuiper who will be responsible for driving roadmap, requirements and feature delivery across embedded SW components. You will work with your customers and partners to refine requirements, understand constraints, anticipate emerging and future capability needs, and iteratively deliver value to our customers.Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Key job responsibilities
Work across Kuiper teams and customers to design software systems and interfaces roadmap.Manage the entire product line life cycle from inception to launch.Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct on-going customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize feature requirements.Understand and synthesize wired and wireless technologies to define leading edge products for our customers.Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life.Write detailed product requirements documents and define use cases, features, and KPIs and drive tradeoff discussions and decisions with the development teams.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.Experience managing technical products or online services.Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.Bachelor's degree.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree.Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.10+ yrs experience in Consumer Electronics, Networking or RF communications industries.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
