Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
Incumbent will assist department PMO's with project implementations. Responsible for administrative support such as scheduling meetings and managing project correspondence. Handles logistical tasks to ensure the Project Manager(s) can focus on higher-level activities.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
Strong interpersonal skills
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in coordinating team work
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent organization and project management skills
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Knowledge of project management and implementation methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification
Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures
