The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who is passionate about technology, has a deep understanding of cloud-based systems, and is ready to push the boundaries of what is possible in the DevOps field. This role will involve working with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform, and will require a top secret security clearance.The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the design, development, and implementation of our robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. They will work closely with our development team to streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitor operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Spinnaker.Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient systems on AWS.Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions.Work closely with the development team to improve software delivery and infrastructure resilience.Maintain security and data protection strategies.Participate in on-call rotation for production system support.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SysOps, or infrastructure architect role.Proven experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go.Experience with CI/CD tooling and processes.Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.Strong understanding of system and network security.Top Secret Security Clearance.TS/SCI clearance is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced and challenging environment, using the latest technologies to drive innovation and improve delivery.
