Director Business Development

An established pharmaceutical manufacturing services outsourcing firm is expanding their North East Coast Business Development team. As a trusted partner to small biotech and large pharmaceutical firms, services range from Biologics, Chemical Development, Discovery, Formulation and Intermediaries. They are a proven necessity for advancing research and commercial projects in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry.Responsibilities:Develop and expand business relationships and partners across the East Coast.Work in collaboration with CRO/CDMO partners to understand service offerings that are brought to customers.Stay up to date and relevant in biotech and pharmaceutical industry news and advances.Technically able to evaluate clients needs (Small Molecule, Drug Substance services).Take a proactive sales approach.Qualifications:PhD degree in Chemistry field Preferred (Organic, Analytical, Chemical Engineering).Master's in Chemistry acceptable.5-8 years experience in business development, or sales positions within pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO/CDMO industry.Small Molecule or Chemistry Pharma services experience is a plus.Ability to attend industry conferences and relevant networking events.Must reside in the Greater North East area: NY, CT, MA, NH, NJ, PA, DE, VA.Benefits:401(k) match & Pension Plan, PTO.Long-term incentives & growth opportunities.Car allowance.If you are looking to impact a company in business over 50 years in an area with tremendous opportunity, apply now!
