www.asteralabs.com .To support rapid international business growth, we are hiring a Senior Principal Product Manager located at our company headquarters in Silicon Valley who has experience managing AI semiconductor solutions for datacenter applications. As an Astera Labs Product Manager, you will lead product definition, vision, and launch products from cradle to grave. You will drive interactions with engineering teams, lead customer discussions, develop go-to-market strategies, identify new markets, and work with senior leaders on the vision and customer impact.Based in Santa Clara, this position requires an in-person presence, offering a unique opportunity to impact our global operations directly.Basic QualificationsEngineering Bachelor’s degree, preferred MBA/MS, or advanced degree15 years’ experience working in product management, product marketing, or business development or relevant customer facing functions in semiconductor companiesExperience with building first-generation products in fields such as Optical fiber, DSP/Linear Drivers/TIAs, VCSEL/EML/SiPho, High-Speed PHYs, and PCIe/Ethernet protocolsExcellent communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence across senior leadership teams at both Astera and the CustomerDetail oriented and customer focused, with the ability to summarize complex data and produce a compelling, yet simple narrativeAuthorized to work in the US and start immediatelyRequired ExperienceMust have thorough market knowledge of server, storage, cloud, and data center segmentProficient technical knowledge of PCIe/CXL/Ethernet protocol, standards, and optical marketProficient understanding of system level architectures in the datacenterProficient understanding of AI Training and Inference and associated data movementProven track record of establishing new, first-generation, product lines and entering new marketsDemonstrated ability to plan, initiate and execute new collaborations with multiple customers and partners across the ecosystemDirect experience working closely with cloud service providers, data center OEMs/ODMs, CPU/GPU vendors and switch/cable suppliersPartnered with industry ecosystem and standards organizations such as PCI-SIG, CXL Consortium, IEEE, etc.Technical Marketing/Sales/Business Development experiences in the semiconductor industry preferredResponsibilitiesExecute on product development
by working with Astera Labs cross-functional teams (program management, R&D, sales, operations, and corporate development) to ensure successful product launch and business growthExecute on product delivery
by working with Astera Labs sales and operations teams to forecast and build product to meet customer needsBuild close relationships with lead customers
and manage cradle-to-grave product engagement and supportLead Go-to-market strategy
and launch plan with clear market assessment, competitive analysis, and positioning of productsDrive Marketing Activities
such as tradeshows, press releases, joint papers, etc. and contribute to new and creative content generationDevelop compelling sales material
that clearly promote product value and differentiation and work closely with sales and customers to secure new business opportunities and close design-wins.Contribute to market TAM/SAM analysis
and use data-driven product and execution strategies to deliver revenue.Maximize Business Impact
through continuous market assessment. Refine product, when needed, based on new learnings and as an advocate for the customerThe base salary range is $184,000.00 USD – $260,000.00 USD.
