The Expressions Design team elevates our digital experiences by activating all senses including sound, visuals, motion, touch, and haptics, and is driven to improve inclusion and create a meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products. Key Job Responsibilities

You will be hands-on, working alongside a talented team of like-minded visual designers, and have a strong understanding of visual systems and best practices, including layout, color palette, typography, iconography, and illustrations. You are at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract, building consensus, and then driving that vision into concise design deliverables. As a tastemaker and visual storyteller, you will advocate for design excellence and help create a meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products. About the Team

The Amazon Device and Services Design Group (DDG) is a multidisciplinary design team that is responsible for the CX and UX across the Echo family of devices, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Alexa Mobile, and more. DDG’s mission is to conceptualize and bring to life delightful, easy-to-use, and high-value experiences for our customers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of design experience Have an available online portfolio 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of mass-market consumer web/mobile products experience Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates visual craft, vision storytelling, and design systems thinking.
