The Strategic Project Manager will provide key support for the Parkinson’s and the Psychiatry teams within International Marketing and Commercial Organization (IMCO). The individual will work directly with the General Manager and closely with the Parkinson’s and the Psychiatry Directors on franchise level initiatives. This will include supporting the International Brand Teams (INBT) to plan meetings, coordinate agendas, prepare minutes, track action items and communicate with team members both in IMCO as well as corresponding affiliate teams. The individual will lead the organization and planning of brand and franchise events and forge relationships with cross-functional IBT members to support achievement of critical milestones by tracking key projects and initiatives and coordinating team responses to critical issues. This will require working closely with all internal groups and external third-party service providers to deliver excellence.Key Responsibilities:Project management support for Franchise Operations and the Parkinson’s and Psychiatry International brand teams (IBTs)Close collaboration with directors/Brand Team Leads to assist in planning and executing projects, including gaining consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables.Support GM on cross team communication and activities, including slide development for executive presentations.Support GM and Directors on cross therapeutic business meeting deliverables such as presentations, reports, and communicationsPlanning and completion of cross-functional and cross-affiliate communications, including email blasts, quarterly newsletter and internal awareness campaignsMaintenance of SharePoint site, MS TEAM, and new content updatesProviding congress and internal events support including logistics, team alignment, communication, and project management of key milestonesCommunicating action due dates and tracking/monitoring progress and performanceEstablishing and maintaining high-quality relationships with all cross-functional team members.Assess the degree to which change causes issues and risks and how those changes affect projects.Exhibits a culture of integrity, excellence, initiative and compliance.Responsible for compliance with applicable AbbVie Policies and procedures.Qualifications
Basic:Proven experience in successfully leading and delivering complex projects.Highly organized, meets project deadlines and proactively delivers business objectives.Exemplary communication skills.Proven experience in planning and coordinating mid-size meetingsExperience managing organizational communications.Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with peers, cross-functional partners, and external agenciesLearning agility: ability to learn complex information, generate insights and develop and implement appropriate strategies and tacticsInquisitive mindset, with desire for continuous learning and growthSuccessful pharmaceutical brand or marketing related experience.Proven track record of effectively working in cross-functional teams and matrix environmentsEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sciences or a Commercial related field.Industry experience preferable.Preferred:Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationProduct launch experienceAdditional Information
