Location Profile:Located in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, a part of the Engineered Products Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.Position Summary:The Director of Operations functions as the daily operations leader and directs the activities of a multi-functional production team in pursuit of world class manufacturing as measured by Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Inventory Management and EBIT performance. The Position plays a highly visible, key leadership role in growing our successful manufacturing company and in making a substantial difference in the attainment of our goals to optimize our resources, expand our capabilities, and continue capturing additional market share. The successful candidate will participate closely in developing, implementing, and driving the strategic plan and top-level policy deployment for the business.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead the direction and coordination of manufacturing operations, fabrication and assembly, short run machining, maintenance, and tooling.Establish the people models for all manufacturing operations balancing productivity, sales, outside processing sources, and machining and personnel capacity to determine optimal personnel requirements. Establish a team-based work culture and the effectiveness of cooperation and collaboration needed to staff and maintain the performance levels and synergy for optimal results.Develop, analyze, implement, and maintain budgets for all costs for manufacturing operations. Assists in driving the necessary pipelines to reduce major costs for energy, and productivity improvement.Coordinates and affects the necessary capital expenditures to support efficiency, capacity, and growth activities for improvement.Coordinate across multiple key business functions including human resources, safety, sales, manufacturing engineering, quality, finance, design engineering, etc. to optimize throughput, continuously improve productivity and efficiency, ensuring highest quality standards are met by organization and maintain or improve profitability levels.Support General Manager in formulating and administering organization policies, manufacturing processes, productivity goals, asset utilization, and efficiency measures needed to meet or exceed business unit shipment goals.Drive a disciplined focus on daily costs and Profit and Loss metrics throughout the plant.Required Skills:

A change agent approach with strong functional team building abilities.Required Experience:

Background related area of Machining Manufacturing (aerospace preferred), Engineering, Operations, and Material Management.5-10 years of progressively broadening Manufacturing experience in a heavy machining and/or assembly environment. At least 3 years should be running a plant.Lean experience (Kanban, Value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S/6S, Six Sigma, etc.)Track record of driving improvement with quantified results.Level of Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $165,000 to $215,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 40% of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company’s performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year and 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
