Apple Maps Evaluation User Experience team is looking for a motivated software user experience test lead with strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for test planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of processes for end-to-end user experience testing.
Description
The candidate should possess the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean and understandable test plans and reports. It is necessary that the candidate is able to work independently and manage several concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills as they collaborate with multiple partners. The daily tasks involve every aspect of user experience testing on our products: test plan creation, test execution, result analysis, and reporting. You will closely collaborate with other members of the Evaluation org including project leads, data scientists, field evaluation leads, and engineers to ensure the Maps organization ships the highest quality products. Design and develop test plans for new products to provide end-to-end user experience feedback. Perform test and/or plan resourcing and monitor progress. Keep track of issues uncovered, identify serious issues, and escalate if necessary for a swift fix. Analyze results, create reports, highlight top issues, and deliver on time. Collaborate with key stakeholders including project leads, data scientists, and engineers to ship our products on time. Attend cross-functional meetings, comfortably articulate the status, and provide feedback and recommendations on products being tested. Create keynotes and present findings to stakeholders including Evaluation leadership. Train contractors and career experience participants and manage their daily tasks. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience in software user experience or QA testing for consumer products. 3+ years of proven experience in managing multiple concurrent projects. Strong experience in developing and implementing test plans, processes, or methodologies. Must be able to handle multiple projects and have strong time management skills in order to meet deadlines. Strong problem solver with a passion for quality and user experience. Strong collaborator with immediate team members, developers, and partners to deliver results. Ability to flexibly adjust and deliver in a fast-paced and ever-changing dynamic environment. Quick-learner/Self-starter with an ability to distill complex matter. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with iOS, watchOS, macOS, or Apple hardware. GIS background. Experience in on-device testing. Experience in data analysis. Experience in training a group. Basic knowledge of coding e.g., Python. Education & Experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
