The team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences across the buyer journey.The job of the Content Marketing Manager is to create compelling content in a variety of formats to raise the profile of Gartner insights in the B2B marketplace, attract the interest of prospective clients and further their engagement with Gartner marketing and sales programs.This role reports to the Director of Content Marketing, with objectives aligned to increasing awareness, visibility and discoverability through a range of content types, and contributing to Corporate Marketing's efforts to accelerate new business growth.Collaborate with corporate & conferences marketing and research & advisory partners to understand our clients' mindset and critical business priorities, and to create compelling content driven by our insights and tools.Maintain in all communications a distinctive voice that adheres to Gartner brand standards and helps bring the brand to life across media and channels.Ideate and create content destined for distribution in various formats, including articles, infographics, videos, presentations, eBooks and other multimedia to increase visibility and discoverability and to drive client journeys through the buying cycle.Develop content marketing strategies and action plans to support corporate marketing campaigns for distinct personas and buyer journeys related to specific business roles such as marketing, sales, and HR and IT.Collaborate with the SEO center of excellence to implement best-in-class SEO for different content types and content-based marketing initiatives.Develop, write and produce a high volume of quality content including 5-8 articles per month and an ongoing stream of eBook and/or larger content assets that distill key business and technology concepts into understandable terms to publish across media.Collaborate with the editorial director, Gartner creative center of excellence and video center of excellence to create engaging content assets (imagery, infographics, data visualization, video, etc) aligned to best practices for publishing, social media and other forms of distribution.Analyze content performance and adapt editorial calendar and strategy based on results.Qualifications
Thorough understanding of marketing buyer journeys and the interaction of marketing and sales enablement.Minimum 7 years writing and creating B2B content, preferably on corporate support functions, such as finance, compliance, sales, marketing or HR, for a publication or brand.Experience developing a variety of content types, including video, social, etc.Bachelor's degree, Journalism or Communications Major preferred.Superb editing skills.Knowledge of SEO tools and best practices.Experience with WordPress, content marketing platforms and/or blogging and content management platforms, AEM.Passion for business and technology.Minimum Requirements
