Description
The Recruitment Manager will play a pivotal role in the recruitment operations for FIFA Club Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026, which will mark an unprecedented event with 48 teams and over 1,200 players competing across 3 countries and 16 venues. This role encompasses traditional recruitment functions and expands into high-volume, fast-paced, and niche recruitment, as well as supporting operational transitions during tournament time.
THE POSITION
Main Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment:
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from initial talent sourcing and screening to selection and offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.Collaborate closely with hiring managers and the workforce planning team to understand and fulfill staffing needs across diverse departments and functions.Execute recruitment strategies for high-volume, tournament-time roles and niche skill sets, building a strong pipeline of candidates for specialized roles in an ever-evolving environment.Tournament-Time Operational Recruitment Support:
Transition seamlessly from recruitment responsibilities to operational support during tournament events, assisting with staff mobilization and management as required.Collaborate with HR and workforce teams to adapt recruitment processes to meet high-intensity, time-sensitive tournament requirements, ensuring rapid deployment of personnel across venues.Coordinate with other operational teams to ensure that recruitment aligns with logistical and staffing needs during tournament phases, providing a proactive approach to personnel planning.Talent Pipeline Building and Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline across both permanent and contract roles, focusing on securing talent for tournament-specific operational positions.Foster ongoing relationships with potential candidates and industry networks, engaging passive talent and building a community that can support the World Cup's staffing demands.Utilize social media, professional networks, and other platforms to expand reach and engagement, nurturing relationships with candidates and promoting FIFA2026 Inc. as an employer of choice.Candidate Experience and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience by maintaining timely communication, providing feedback, and building a positive image of FIFA2026 Inc. throughout the recruitment process.Liaise with senior managers and department heads, acting as a trusted advisor on recruitment needs and trends, with a keen focus on the cultural and operational uniqueness of the FIFA organization.Work closely with HR, workforce planning, and other internal departments to create a smooth and efficient recruitment process that aligns with organizational goals and timelines.Process Optimization and Administrative Support:
Continuously refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency, speed, and quality, implementing best practices that support high-volume hiring during tournament build-up phases.Perform administrative tasks with a strong attention to detail, ensuring that all documentation, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations are met in a timely and organized manner.Contribute to the ongoing development of recruitment strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the long-term goals of FIFA2026 Inc., particularly in the lead-up to tournament events.YOUR PROFILEACCOUNTABILITY:

Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, or related fieldFamiliar with United States employment laws and regulations (Canadian and/or Mexican familiarity is a plus)Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a comparable role in an international, fast-paced environment, preferably in the events and/or sports industry.Strong knowledge of modern CRM, Applicant Tracking Systems, and technologies used to attract, nurture and manage a pipeline of talent.Expertise in using various social media platforms to advance traction on sourcing of key roles.Demonstrated ability to project manage, prioritize effectively, and work independently.Ability to provide examples where excellent client service skills and the capacity to facilitate the needs of multiple business units have served you well in your career to date.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrable adaptability and examples of where you've acted as a facilitator and/or negotiator.Experience working within a multicultural and/or multinational organization.Languages:
Fluent in English (written and spoken)Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plusTechnology:
