PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for the production, augmentation, and coordination of 3D object-oriented models for field utilization.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

Work individually, or with teams, developing & coordinating 3D object-oriented models.Manage and implement BIM processes and standards in collaboration with project teams.Develop project specific interdisciplinary coordination protocols.Use collaboration software to integrate models from designers, consultants, and contractors.Perform model-based coordination efforts and facilitate trade coordination meetings.Assist project staff to ensure coordinated work will meet or exceed quality standards.Document and communicate coordination issues with project teams (i.e. RFIs, etc.).Create, modify, and maintain visual schedules throughout the course of a project.Assist project teams with model-based quantity takeoffs using appropriate software.Communicate and provide support for business development needs as it relates to BIM.Train project management and field personnel to navigate and operate BIM software.Incorporate safety and quality methodology and logistics information into BIM efforts.Develop library of construction related content that can be integrated into BIM projects.Develop photorealistic renderings and animations directly from models.Assist in the development of the company's BIM related goals, initiatives, and standards.Develop new ways to utilize model-based information in various phases of projects.Obtain/maintain remote pilot certification to conduct company UAS operations.Obtain/maintain Level 1 certification in Building Inspections thermography.Research, development and evaluation of potential technologies.Continue expansion of knowledge in the construction and technology sectors.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education and experience requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field. Minimum of three (3) years experience in the construction industry. Self-motivated individual with ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. Experience with industry leading model authoring and collaboration software. Knowledge of design development with an ability to interpret design documentation.
