Position Overview:We are seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to join our team in the Albany/Troy, NY area. This role is pivotal in overseeing and enhancing operational processes, ensuring the highest standards in construction management, safety, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in construction management, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and proficiency in accounting and billing functions. Initially, the role will be office-based, with the potential for a hybrid work schedule as responsibilities evolve.Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.Construction Management: Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Safety Compliance: Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Establish and maintain QA/QC processes to ensure all projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.Financial Oversight: Manage accounting and billing functions, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting, to ensure financial objectives are met.Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded expectations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior operations role.Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, QA/QC standards, and financial management.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction management, safety, or quality control are a plus.
