As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and providing customer support.
As a Food Service Assistant, you will support the food service team by assisting with food prep, restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and helping with other tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
For Food Service Workers:
Prepare and serve food items, including hot and cold meals, snacks, and beverages.Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe food preparation environment.Take orders and serve food in a courteous and professional manner.Operate kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and dishwashers.Ensure the dining area is clean and well-stocked, including wiping down tables and chairs.Assist with setting up food stations for service, including salads, beverages, and condiments.
For Food Service Assistants:
Assist Food Service Workers in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling meal components.Restock food items, beverages, and supplies in kitchen or dining areas.Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining spaces by wiping down surfaces, cleaning equipment, and ensuring proper sanitation.Help in the organization and storage of food products.Assist with washing dishes, utensils, and cookware.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GEDPrior experience in food service or a customer-facing role is a plus but not required.Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
