As a Low Voltage Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful completion of Low Voltage installation projects on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for: Developing comprehensive project plans and schedulesDirecting Lead Technicians for a successful outcome of project implementation, i.e., efficient workflow, material coordination, change orders, project schedule, etc.Ensuring that quality standards are maintained for all projectsCoordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are metManaging project financials, including cost tracking and reportingAttending jobsite and pre-construction meetingsIdentifying and resolving project risks and challengesResponsible for change-order management, properly documenting changes to scope and obtaining approval from appropriate managersCloseout and warranty completionEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsProviding technical guidance and support to project team membersUnderstanding of job safety practices and ensure installation team is adhering to job safety practices
Position Requirements: Advanced written, verbal, customer service and relationship building skills.Strong multitasking and organizational skills.Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to change.Ability to work well with others both internally and externally
Ability to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong problem-solving, decision making, and analytical abilities.Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office 365.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.Willingness to travel as needed for project meetings and quality assurance.Dedication to a culture of safety.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of low voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, firm alarms and data networks.At least 2 years of experience in low voltage project management or field experience.Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, and NEC standards.Experience managing large scale, multi-million dollar federal/commercial projects.Familiarity with test equipment used to install, troubleshoot and maintain systems.
