As a Sales Intern at Swisher, you will be responsible for supporting sales activities assisting the team with driving business performance within a designated territory. This program blends hands-on training with ride-along experiences and provides opportunities for independent work alongside our experienced sales team. During our 12-week long summer internship program, you will experience diverse on-the-job training, have access to a wide range of mentors across many functions, engage in social and community service events, and receive various professional and personal developmental opportunities.

Internship Details:

12-week long program (May 2025 – July 2025)35 hours a week / $21.50 per hourIntern will be based in Dallas, TX

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Intern at Swisher, you will be responsible for supporting sales activities including assisting in driving business performance within a designated territory. This program blends hands-on training with ride-along experiences and provides opportunities for independent work alongside our experienced sales team. Under the supervision of our skilled sales professionals, you will be challenged and empowered to:

Key Responsibilities:

Have responsibilities including point of sale and prebooking, auditing branding/schematic compliance, and merchandising in chain and independent stores.Develop the skills to effectively sell to retail partners about company products and initiatives.Use MSA and POS data to analyze key indicators and provide recommendations for optimization.Develop and compile sales/business reports.Learn cross-functional responsibilities and understand the significance of interdepartmental collaboration.Create and execute a high-level business analysis project at the conclusion of the program and present your work to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

Must be Senior-level college student and reside in the geographic area listed or nearbyMust be at least 21 years of age at the time of employmentMust possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportationMust be enrolled in a college/university and in good academic standing2.75 GPA or above preferredMay be able to stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to lift, push, and pull, or otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weights up to, or more than 25 lbsHave the ability to visit and move around at convenience stores, warehouses, and other work sites, including the ability to climb a ladder or maneuver in tight or small placesTravel: This role requires travel, including overnight travel.
