Volt is immediately hiring for a Forklift Certified Shipping/Receiving Worker in Tualatin, OR.

As a Forklift Certified Shipping/Receiving Worker you will:Stock received goods in the warehouseReplenish Lean Assembly Line KanBan Bins and CartsRecycle AccuSine manufacturing, warehouse and receiving/shippingCycle CountsScrap of obsolete materialMaintain part, pallet and beam labelingMaintain clean and organized work areas in a 5S environmentSafely execute all duties related to shipping processesPerform picking, product verification, packaging, and shipping of domestic and international shipmentsUtilize contracted shipping lanes or request spot quotes when requiredEnter tracking information into the system and trace shipments as necessaryCoordinate with Freight Forwarders and common carriers to schedule pickups and follow up as neededCollaborate effectively with the shipping team, manufacturing, quality, management, and sales departments
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:Valid certification/licensing as a forklift operatorPrior experience in a shipping or warehouse environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipmentsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teamsAbility to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining safety protocolsFlexibility to handle additional tasks within the shipping team
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hourShift: M-F 12:00 pm-8:30 pm
