We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with experience in design, development, unit testing, and problem solving for an enterprise platform solution for Supply Chain functionality. This platform being built will leverage Java and the Spring Boot framework, interacting with MongoDB leveraging GKE deployments within GCP. The ideal candidate will need to be able to partner with other developers to help conceive and design solutions for both software enhancements and new functionality within our growing platform solution. The work will be completed leveraging modern software development paradigms (e.g. GitLab, Splunk, CI/CD, GCP, agile), and following an overall product mindset. This effort will involve supporting work across multiple teams so having experience in coordinating technical solutions in a larger workstream would be ideal.
Skillset / Experience: BA in Computer Science or equivFive years of progressively related experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components and interfaces between Supply Chain ERP systems.Significant knowledge/experience in relevant technologies, such as: Java/Spring Boot/GCP/GKE/TerraformMongoDB AtlasDevelopment Tools (Eclipse, Gitlab, CI/CD, Maven, Jenkins)JSON MessagingPub/Sub design implementationWeb Services (SOAP & REST)
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented, self-organized, delivers quality and capable of tracking multiple pieces of work simultaneously.Problem solving mindset to research and propose solutions for design and technical challengesAbility to handle virtual teams and work with resources in multiple sites (onsite, offshore, near shore)Excellent time management skills
Nice to Have: Supply Chain Management experience including logistics, WMS, inventory management, purchasing, etc.Experience interacting with BlueYonder and SAP interfaces
