This person will also be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed.

Assemble various assemblies, subassemblies, standards, and unique products according to regulatory, organizational, and procedural requirements.Accurate fitting, aligning, and adjusting required very close tolerances or precision fits subject to strict inspection.The ability to cut, strip, solder, crimp and terminate small gauge wire according to specifications using hand and power toolsSet up, and test complete products to ensure that units meet specification and customer order requirements using automated and manual testing methods.Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean manufacturing environment.Instruct others in assembly and test methods.Assist in the creation of assembly procedures to ensure clarity and product quality.Other responsibilities as required.

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a dedicated laboratory in a professional manufacturing environment. Employees in this role routinely use electrical test equipment, standard hand tools, and microscopes, as well as some office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis position is full-time, which operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

High School Diploma or GEDTechnical or vocational school background in electrical or electronics helpfulOne to three plus years of experience in a precision electro-mechanical assembly environmentTraining to IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards for electronic and cable/wire harness assemblies helpful
