Thank you for your interest in an internship with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. It is our goal to provide you with hands-on experience and knowledge useful in competing for jobs in the baseball industry, beginning with Minor League Baseball.
This is a full-time internship, with flexibility provided to accommodate academic commitments. The Graphic Design internship
runs from January through early September (9 months) . Qualifications are based on ability, desire, work ethic and a commitment to make the most of the experience. Specific work schedules will be discussed and finalized during the hiring process.
Timber Rattler interns receive a salary of $1200/month and are expected to maintain a
very challenging
schedule throughout the internship. Interns are expected to be at all home games as well as play key roles in executing special events taking place at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Comp time can be earned throughout the season to help alleviate the challenging schedule.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are looking for a talented and enthusiastic designer with an excellent eye for detail to join the Marketing Team for the 2025 baseball season. The Graphic Design intern will work closely with the Marketing Director and Senior Graphic Designer to produce print & digital graphics that will be displayed in-park and online. The Timber Rattlers believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment that values creativity, innovative thinking, and the unique perspective each team member brings, including interns. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with our experienced staff, attend meetings, and build professional relationships throughout the season. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist Marketing Team with print and digital materials.Follow the brand guidelines and 2025 design aesthetic set forth by the Marketing Team.Proof all work that will be visible to the public with the Marketing Team and other staff members.Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop creative concepts.Assist with in-house print fulfillment including cutting, folding, laminating, etc.Assist the team mascot with community appearances.Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with the Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and Lightroom.Experience shooting and editing photography.A keen eye for detail and proofing.Ability to receive constructive criticism.Ability work jointly and independently.Ability to prioritize urgent and long-term assignments.Great organizational skills; file naming and folder locations.
Applicants must submit a portfolio.
Aside from the above stated duties, interns will be required to assist other front office staff as needed. Other duties could include distribution of giveaways, pulling tarp, picking up mail, assisting with special events, theme night planning and execution, customer service, answering phones and general office duties.
Start Date: January 2025
