We are currently seeking to add an experienced Senior 3D Environment Artist/World Builder. As an Environment Artist/World Builder with us, you will use your keen eye for detail and exceptional Substance, Zbrush and Unreal Engine skills to help us bring our games to realization. In return, you will be part of an experienced creative and supportive team working on various AAA titles!
Some of the cool stuff you'll be doing:
Adhere to a specific art style and address feedback given by your team leadsCollaborate with other artists and world builders to create interesting and immersive environmentsModeling environment geometry from simple level blockout to finished statesUV map and paint custom texture sets or trim sheets for levelsPolish up environments with detail objects, decals, VFX, and other set dressing elementsRequirements
What you'll bring to the table:
A strong
portfolio/demo reel
showcasing proficiency in environment art/world building for video games (**must submit to be considered**)5+ years of professional experience working as an environment artists/world builder in the video game industryKnowledge of 3D applications such as Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, etcWell versed in Substance Designer, Substance Painter and ZbrushStrong experience working with Unreal EngineA keen eye for level design, and the aesthetics for visual storytellingA strong interest in games and creating game environmentsExperience within game development crafting playable environments and understanding of how the environment affects gameplayBonus Points!
Experienced working on multiple shipped titlesExperience building props, both organic and hard surface and traditional workThis is a fully remote
contract position
