Are you an experienced communications professional focused on growing your expertise in the biotech industry? We’re a thriving strategic communication, digital and creative agency based in Boston that works with trailblazers in the biotech industry. We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic leader steeped in this sector - or one with a strong desire to learn - to play a key role in client relationships, strategy and execution for programs including corporate messaging/positioning, media strategies/media relations, social/digital media, investor communications, internal communications, scientific communications, web site development and patient engagement.

Please Note:

Our headquarter office is located in downtown Boston, MA. Our Boston area employees collaborate in office together three days a week with flexibility/remote work on other days. Our remote employees spend time in Boston for company, client and team meetings as needed.

The Account Director will:

Help lead Ten Bridge efforts across multiple client accounts, working with account teams to plan and implement the full range of client responsibilitiesLeverage deep life sciences knowledge to develop impactful content across a range of materials such as executive bylines, media pitches, scientific key messages, website text, corporate presentations, press releases, content and director for biomedical illustrations, social media campaigns and content, video scripts and moreFoster highly collaborative long-term client relationshipsCultivate ongoing media relationships, pitching stories, and delivering measurable benefits for clientsDevelop and implement digital/social strategies for corporate, clinical trial recruitment and patient advocacy initiativesHelp to nurture the career growth and professional development of junior staffPartner with our creative team on highly collaborative work across multiple platforms, including management of external vendorsAlong with a positive, team-oriented approach to work, your experience should include:

6+ years of experience in an agency or in-house communications role focused on biotech, pharma, or healthcare industries. Investor relations and/or investor and financial communications experience is a plus.Master’s or PhD in science field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience, is requiredProven ability to immerse oneself in our industry and the world-changing work of our biotech clientsPassion for building value for clients in the biotech space through highly strategic communications approachesTrack record of work products that conform to internal/external style requirements, demonstrate attention to detail, are free of errors, and include scientific ideas presented clearly, accurately, and persuasivelyAbility to lead and inspire a talented staff of motivated professionals at all levelsStrong writing and editing abilities and demonstrated aptitude in adapting writing style to fit a given audience or application (media, web, internal, etc.); proficiency in AP style preferredAwareness of industry media and publications, foundational understanding of the news cycle and experience with media outreachFantastic client service skillsA desire to help build and nurture a culture of collaboration, excellence, and growth as we scale the Ten Bridge team and behind-the-scenes company operationsAbout Ten Bridge CommunicationsWe are a growing team that is passionate about developing strategic and impactful communications, digital and creative work for our clients in the biotech industry who are dedicated to developing new and potentially life changing therapies for patients.
