ResponsibilitiesVirginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington State is recruiting for an experienced

Intensivist

to join our regional team. We are looking for physicians who thrive in a highly collaborative environment, have a passion for resident and staff education, and have an interest in quality improvement.

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's Critical Care and Intensive Care units are fully equipped and ready to take care of our community's most seriously ill patients as they begin their road to recovery. Our staff are specially trained to care for the most complex conditions. Patients who visit us include those who have just completed complex surgeries, such as open-heart surgery or vascular procedures, or those who have suffered multiple injuries. These units provide 24-hour monitoring by critical care nurses trained to meet the high demands of this special patient care.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include direct patient care, involvement in unit operations and leading daily multidisciplinary rounds. Positions are available to work at a single site or at multiple sites. We work on a rotating schedule with a mix of day shifts and night shifts. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to be part of a collaborative, quality driven team with a commitment to providing evidence-based care to the patients we serve.

QualificationsQualifications

ABA or ABIM Board-Certified Critical CareCandidates boarded in Emergency Medicine will be considered2+ years of experienceAbility to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WAAbility to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practiceAuthorized to work in the United States. We are not offering Visa support assistance for this position.

Pay Range$150.00 - $182.69 /hour
