ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages reports, controls, and manages assigned operations in compliance with established policies and procedures. Ensures the availability of adequate plant facilities, labor, raw materials and supplies to meet planned inventory levels and sales demand. Ensures that production schedules are established which most effectively use people and equipment. Supports the appropriate human resource programs and the overall personnel function. This includes recruiting/screening of all hourly and non-exempt employees for selection by the immediate supervisor, consistent application of policies and procedures, plant rules, corrective action, employee relations, training, plant safety, wage and non-exempt salary administration, plant security, and administration of any applicable labor agreements or non-union handbooks. Ensures adherence for all reports to plant safety program using appropriate staff personnel. Ensures that quality is in compliance with the company standards and specifications. Resolves related problems promptly, promote the company's quality image, and instill this in all plant personnel. Leads large scale projects in regards to process and performance efficiencies Continues to analyze all phases of production and work with appropriate personnel to institute cost-savings practices and more efficient process and procedures. Ensures accurate cost standards and minimum product costs. Ensures variance controls are in an acceptable range. Monitors variable labor and expenses and fixed costs to ensure acceptable use of monies. Provides continued leadership and guidance to assigned personnel for increasing their effectiveness and establishing good working relationships. Works with staff personnel in preparation of applicable capital budget and operating budget. Represents the plant in community and industrial meetings, if necessary. Keeps informed on the latest technological changes in industry. Works towards improvements for process efficiencies Work in a safe manner following all PPE and standardized processes TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Mechanical Engineering Degree Preferred and/or Masters of Business Administration degree 5-7 Years of experience managing and driving production strategy Experience in widget manufacturing preferred Demonstrated attention to detail. Strong analytical skills including the use and application of Six Sigma problem solving techniques Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making. Excellent judgment/decision making, conflict resolution, directing and motivating staff skills. Track record of leading and motivating a workforce to meet department/company goals. Ability to organize departmental activities, such as holding management and staff meetings Skilled in managing multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast paced changing environment. Possess skills to develop and implement new procedures and policies to simplify and improve operations. Strong verbal and communication skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to warehouse and broader operations team Proficient in computer use of MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge of SAP programs a plus. Must be able to read, write and understand English
