12 hrs, 6:45-7:15, schedules made out about 2-3 weeks ahead of time initially and then they try to schedule them out 9 weeks in advance, self-scheduling for the most part.4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Days - Sat/Sun, Nights - Fri/Sat.Unit Specific Information
Tele - 4West unit with 22 beds.Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts in 4 weeks.Ratios: 1 to 3-4.EMR: CernerCharge Nurse oversees 74 beds (2 West, 4West, and 2 central).Nurse Aides for all 74 beds.Floating to IMCU or 2 Central - all tele unitsFloor specific orientation: 1 shift on unitCommon diagnosis / Types of patients: post-op CABG, surgical thoracic, stroke, cardiac, etc.Unit stresses patient experience, HCAHPS, and core measures.Additional Details
ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification), NIHSS; HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED, HOWEVER IT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.
