Data Assistant

t o join our

Community Health Work & Sustainable Outreach and Navigation (CHW SON)

team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health d ata entry and/or data management a nd analysis, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data, supporting program evaluation, and informing critical public health decisions. This position is 100% grant funded through August 2026.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the collection, cleaning, and validation of public health data from various sources.Monitor data reports, identifying trends, anomalies, and potential issues.Troubleshoot data-related problems, implementing solutions to ensure data accuracy and completeness.Prepare regular data summaries and rep orts on outreach activities and community referrals for internal and external stakeholders.Attend meetings with public health officials and other relevant parties, communicating data findings and addressing data entry concerns.Collaborate with program staff to ensure data quality and relevance to program goals.Support the evaluation of grant-funded public health programs, including data analysis and reporting.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Communicable Disease Control, or a related field and a minimum of one year of data entry experience OR a minimum of 5 to 2 years of experience managing data or evaluating grant-funded or public health or similar programs.Proven experience with data collection methods, data cleaning techniques, and data analysis software.Strong understanding of public health principles and practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/ Google Office
