Description: 1.Identifies, documents, researches, resolves or escalates problems for resolution. 2.Identifies problems affecting system performance. 3.Works with Information Services staff or others for resolution. 4.Maintains database of reported requests for problem tracking and resource management. 5.Notifies associates as necessary of problems that will impact computer utilization. 6.Assists end users in determining how to access systems. 7.Provides some end user training for associates in the utilization of computer application systems, in order to resolve issues. 8.Helps create and develop user training material. 9.Serves as an ongoing technical resource to users; helps develop system related reference materials and procedures. 10. Provides and/or shares accurate and thorough information regarding systems; directs end user to resources able to provide desired information. 11.Develops updates to existing reference material and new reference material as neede 12.Provides instruction on security and confidentiality to users. 13.Ensures proper procedures, approvals, and processes are followed to create, change and remove access. 14.Provides initial ID and passwords for computer access utilizing applicable policies and procedures in a timely manner. 15.Maintains user profile, making changes per request for name or title change, transfers or terminations.
