Summary:We are seeking exceptional candidates who possess a unique blend of System and Support skills to successfully support our cloud service and edge device fleets. This job will require a unique combination of flexibility, troubleshooting, creativity, leadership skills and drive. As part of this highly visible team, candidates have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with multiple engineering teams within (FTR) to raise the bar on quality and the customer experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing Tier II and Tier III resolution of technical inquiries and escalations from client's Fulfillment Centers; the topics of these inquiries and escalations will regard our cloud services and edge device fleets. They may include but are not limited to: deep diving offline robotic software and network issues, driving root cause corrective action, spares and tool identificationTroubleshoot issues on both AWS cloud service and edge device levelsBe able to write documentation, such as guides and runbooksLog into AWS accounts to analyze Cloudwatch logs and determine root causes of failuresUtilize AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for managing and troubleshooting edge devicesPerform basic changes on TypeScript AWS CDK and Python packagesUnderstand and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, including setting up and maintaining customer CDK pipelinesLogin to edge devices and perform basic networking and Linux services troubleshootingEngage with customers to resolve technical inquiries and escalationsIdentify and address trending performance issues and improvement opportunitiesCapture customer feedback and leverage field experience to improve product design and development prioritiesWork independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience as a DevOps and/or SysAdminStrong understanding of AWS services, particularly Systems Manager, CloudWatch, Lambda, and API GatewayProficiency in Linux OS troubleshooting and basic networking conceptsExperience with TypeScript and PythonFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and practicesKnowledge of edge computing and IoT device managementExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and writing skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly AWS CDKFamiliarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with log analysis and monitoring toolsKnowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting techniquesPrevious experience in a customer-facing technical support roleFamiliarity with Agile methodologies
Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
