Travel rate is available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/16.RTO after booking is not allowed and RTO on unit could possibly lead to cancel and DNR.Traveler will be assigned and expected to work Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events, mass casualty or disaster.Candidates need ventilator experience and competent in managing and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.Job Requirements

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required.Traveler Experience: REQUIRED.Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes.Skills: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management.Float Requirement: will float to ED-IP, medical, surgical, or cardiac floors. May float to ICU for PCU appropriate assignment.Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule period.Scheduling Type: Self scheduling.Storm team coverage required. Holiday coverage required.Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.Schedule Information

Ratios: 1:3-4.Shift: Nights 36 or 48 hours. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48.Shift Length: 13 Weeks.UNIT ORIENTATION: 40 hours.SCRUBS: Navy and White.Unit Specific Information

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Stepdown experience should be required but Prefer some ICU experience as PCU at NHRMC is very similar to some rural ICUs level of care.Additional Details

Interview Availability: Manager will not offer without speaking to candidate first.PATIENT DIAGNOSES: We are a mix of medical, cardiac, surgical, trauma patients.UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR.
