We are seeking a Program Specialist to join our team in our Philadelphia, PA location. Position Details: The Program Specialist leads the individual's team, to ensure that each person is fully supported in his everyday life. Together with the individual, this professional develops, and guides services needed to help gain inclusion in the local community. The Program Specialist is dedicated to ensuring all aspects of supports are consumer driven and reflective of the agency's mission and values. The role of the Program Specialist is to develop, coordinate, assess and ensure implementation of individualized support plans (ISP)/program plans. The Program Specialist provides ongoing services, which are instructional, supportive, supervisory and administrative. These services may be delivered as part of a spectrum of IDD services, including licensed Community Living Arrangements, licensed Life Sharing programs, licensed Adult Training Facilities, or unlicensed services, such as Home-Based Waiver, or Person/Family Directed Support Services. The program specialist works collaboratively with other professionals and team member to ensure services required for the individual are in place. Merakey welcomes all Veterans to apply The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or autism. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or autism. An associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or autism. A high school diploma or general education development certificate and 6 years of work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or autism.
