Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Dietitian

to provide expert nutrition care at the Level 4 NICU at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

The Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is a Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center (CRPC), the highest state designation for pediatrics.

This Level IV NICU has 58 licensed NICU beds and serves infants as young as 22 to 24 weeks’ gestational age with pediatric medical and pediatric surgical specialty consultants to provide the most advanced care. We are looking for a dedicated, experienced NICU dietitian to add to our exceptional team.

Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
