Dietitian Nutritionist I-HC (40 hours per week)

at First Health Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond (MRH-R), located in Rockingham, NC.

This 90-bed community

hospital is part of the First Health of the

Carolinas system.

MRH-R is located ~70 miles southeast of Charlotte, NC.

Remote work available on Tuesday & Thursday. Will work M,W,F in outpatient cardiac rehab -730am -12pm and inpatient 1230-4pm

$5000 Sign on Bonus is available!Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Tuition reimbursement is available!

The successful candidate will:provides hospital wide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;Works in cardiac rehab as a part of the teamno weekendsperform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; andserve as a preceptor for dietetic interns.

Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
