Stratford, CT or New York, NY, Offices in Stratford, CT and New York, NYWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Marketing to lead and oversee the marketing initiatives for our association-focused organization. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing creative and design efforts, and driving member engagement and growth. The Senior Manager will work closely with leadership to support organizational goals, oversee the marketing and creative team, and ensure cohesive and impactful branding and messaging.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Planning:Develop, implement, and manage marketing plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.Collaborate with leadership to define and refine brand messaging, voice, and positioning.Team Leadership and Oversight:Manage and mentor the marketing and creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Oversee the design, development, and execution of marketing assets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback to team members.Creative and Graphic Design Coordination:Oversee graphic design efforts, ensuring all creative materials align with the organization’s brand guidelines.Collaborate with internal and external designers to develop engaging content for print, digital, and event marketing.Review and approve creative deliverables, ensuring high-quality output.Email Marketing and Digital Platforms:Lead the strategy and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management, segmentation, and analytics.Utilize email and digital platforms to drive engagement and membership growth.Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies to improve ROI and effectiveness.Event and Program Support:Develop marketing strategies to promote events, webinars, and programs, ensuring strong attendance and engagement.Collaborate with program teams to create promotional content and materials.Budget and Performance Management:Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to leadership.Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance results.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in an association or non-profit setting.Proven experience in team management and leadership.Strong knowledge of graphic design processes and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and analytics tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:
Experience with association management software (AMS) or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO and social media.Familiarity with event promotion and membership engagement strategies.Paid time off
