Associate Director, US HypoPT HCP Marketing

Reporting to the Senior Director of HypoPT Marketing, the Associate Director of HCP Marketing will act as project lead for all HCP-facing personal and non-personal tactics in support of the unbranded and branded launches for Hypoparathyroidism (HypoPT). This is a pre-launch role with the opportunity to help establish a new therapeutic area in the Meta+ business unit at Alexion. Initial focus will be on developing and launching an unbranded disease state campaign targeted to HCPs, quickly followed by branded campaign development to prepare for an anticipated 2026 FDA approval. This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the core unbranded materials (personal and NPP), national conference strategy, omnichannel plan, as well as acting as a key contributor to the annual brand plan. The AD will also lead cohesive efforts with the field (e.g. POA planning, monthly marketing liaison calls, etc.).This individual will help drive the digital strategy and omnichannel expansion efforts for HCPs, and will partner with the patient and payer marketing leads to ensure a broad approach across all customers. This role will be a key cross-functional player, collaborating closely with numerous teams to accomplish goals, including: Field Sales, TLL, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Medical, Business Operations/OMNI, and Promotional Review Committee (PRC).Accountabilities:

Leading the development of core resources (personal and non-personal) in alignment with the brand strategy.Developing the strategic direction for derivative materials to complement the core promotional efforts while improving budget efficiencies.Partnering with patient marketing lead to ensure broad approach for the tactical execution of HypoPT omnichannel brand and disease-state assets.Partnering with payer marketing lead to ensure a comprehensive approach to messaging and promotion across all key team members.Collaborating with our OMNI team strategy lead to establish a strong digital footprint with HCPs by demonstrating innovative thinking and employing a try-test-fail agile methodology.Leading national conference execution (unbranded/branded) to ensure maximum reach and efficiency with key targets.Developing relevant critical metrics and closely supervising performance in order to quickly respond and optimize marketing efforts.Leading multiple marketing agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets.Leading field engagement efforts for HCP marketing (POA, Fast Start, etc.) to ensure continuous feedback loop and appropriate communication and visibility among teams.Encouraging positive relationships with cross-functional teams and possessing the ability to lead discussions of diverse collaborators on high-stakes topics.Essential Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's degree required in the Life Sciences or other relevant fieldSolid understanding of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.Strong ability to lead multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, in teams and as a sub-team lead.Demonstrated experience in strategically leading personal and non-personal tactical development and execution5 years pharmaceutical industry experience (i.e., marketing, sales, agency, consultancy) and a solid understanding of marketing principles, including key principles of brand management, professional promotion, HCP education, and NPP.Experience developing and actively leading HCP tactical & media plans strongly preferred.Experience in handling external agencies (AOR and Media) on a day-to-day basis and budget management required.Travel: anticipate 30%.The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. Apply now!The annual base pay for this position ranges from $141,000 to $212,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
