The Marcom Design Team drives the design and art direction for core communications, including high-impact product launches and seasonal campaigns, spanning Retail, Channel, Packaging, Keynote, and Events. We’re seeking a versatile and creative Senior Writer to join our Screens Team within Marcom Design. Screens are central to many Apple devices, serving as the focal point for user interaction. In crafting content across our products, screen copy plays a crucial role in showcasing the amazing capabilities of our devices.DescriptionAn experienced Senior Writer within our Screens team will craft compelling content across a range of Apple products. Specifically, we need someone who can take a complicated piece of technology or software and encapsulate it in compelling, on-screen content. Responsibilities range from developing headlines and short form copy, to writing long form and detailed copy. As a key contributor to our campaigns, you’ll help shape the tone and voice across screens with a team of world-class designers.Responsibilities Include:Create headlines, long-form, and short form copy for visual content that feels fresh, distinctive, and simple, yet inspiring and unmistakably on-brand.Develop in-depth knowledge of the latest Apple products, solutions, and emerging technologies.Translate technical features into meaningful content, stories, and user personas for screens, helping to showcase how these features can benefit the lives of our customers.Work with creative leadership and product marketing to develop launch messaging and screens for new and existing Apple products.Partner with Designers and Art Directors to create product launch screens across a variety of campaign environments.Minimum Qualifications7+ years of professional writing experience in a brand, advertising, editorial or agency environment.A portfolio of work showcasing writing samples.Experience with cross-functional collaboration and partnering with creative teams.Key Qualifications Preferred QualificationsStrong communication skills to present ideas clearly and creatively.Experience with conceptualizing stories and user personas effectively.Experience collaborating successfully with a team of Art Directors and Graphic Designers.Agility to think strategically and critically, working well and managing feedback from multiple stakeholders.Comfortability in managing multiple projects at once, with multiple Creative Directors and teams.Ability to work quickly and on fast-paced deadlines.Editorial experience, as well as client experience.Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
