ONESOURCE Principal Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Implementation Consultant with 8+ years of experience in implementing ONESOURCE Indirect Tax. The Principal Implementation Consultant will work closely with ONESOURCE Project Managers and Technical SMEs to implement ONESOURCE Determination software at client sites or remotely in Global Implementations.You will provide customers with Tax Engine expertise when implementing tax scenarios and integrating ONESOURCE Indirect Tax to ERP applications, ecommerce, and POS. As a Principal Implementation Consultant, you will work with a project team to gather and define business requirements and convert them into robust and flexible solutions. This position is unique as you will be exposed to customers from different industries and their business requirements and operations.About the RoleServe as a primary Tax SME with client tax professionalsLead business and user requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation.Assist in the analysis and delivery of ONESOURCE Determination implementations that reflect an in-depth understanding of the client's tax requirements and compliance process.Engagement with other Thomson Reuters teams as appropriate to deliver end-to-end Indirect Tax integration solutionsEnsure all Indirect tax-related requirements are metExplain ONESOURCE Determination related issues/problems and solutions to non-tax & technical staffWork with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE Determination solutionsWork with Product and Engineering teams in the growth of the product and solutionsExecute personal work within a controlled project management environmentWork with Pre-sales on prospects and bid developmentWork with functional & technical colleagues to deliver the implementationAbout YouHigher Education Degree or Diploma - Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science preferred8+ years of work experience with at least 3 of those years working with ONESOURCE DeterminationMust have excellent interpersonal and written communication skillsMust have experience implementing ONESOURCE DeterminationMust be skilled in troubleshooting and resolving ONESOURCE Determination issuesShould have experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineeringShould have experience with process/software gap analysis and resolutionShould have experience creating and executing test cases and test scriptsKnowledge of APIs, Webservices (SOAP & REST), XMLUp to 10% of travel is expectedTax and Financial: Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE Determination, ONESOURCE Compliance, Avalara, Sovos, CCH, Sabrix, Taxware, and/or Vertex) is highly desirableFinancial work experience or related degreeTechnical: Create and execute unit testing ensuring software meets requirementsWhat's in it For You?Wellbeing:
