About The PositionAs the Senior Manager of Video Production, you will lead the development of high-quality video content that amplifies our mission and impact. This role is integral to shaping the way we communicate with diverse audiences, including students, educators, donors, and the public. You will oversee all stages of video production—from ideation and storyboarding to filming and post-production—ensuring each project aligns with organizational goals and brand standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across the organization and also manage external vendors, videographers, and editors to produce compelling stories that inspire action. The ideal candidate is a visionary producer with a passion for education, a track record of delivering high-quality content on time and on budget, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Key Responsibilities and DutiesLead the production of national branded video content for use across all communication channels including social media videos and animations, email deployments, alumni and scholarship announcements, recruitment campaigns, etc.Act as an embedded documentarian to interview KIPP staff, students, families, community members, and alumni to identify, craft, and amplify stories about KIPP and issues relevant to KIPP.Manage workflow and stakeholder engagement for all national KIPP video projects.Maintain and enhance KIPP’s national video style guide.Work in partnership with the national marketing and communications team to align video content to the editorial calendar and support distribution planning to ensure those stories reach target audiences.Work in partnership with regional leads and external vendors to capture video content and support all onsite logistics of shoots as necessary.Amplify existing and train new video storytellers within the KIPP network and provide them with tools and resources to communicate their messages and amplify their voices, increasing the volume, diversity, and reach of shared stories network-wide year over year.Qualifications

Video Editing and Production Fluency : Ability to tell a compelling story, through video; Proficient in planning, shooting, editing, and post-production video work; Extraordinary interview skills with a unique ability to connect with the person sitting across from you.Trusting Relationships:

Work ConditionsFull time, Exempt role.LocationIt is preferred, but not mandatory for this role to be based out of a KIPP Foundation office. This role also has the option of working from a remote office full-time. KIPP Foundation offices are in NYC and Chicago.Compensation and BenefitsIn compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, and relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $118,000.
