As a key player in the Communications & Strategic Initiatives Area, you will oversee all aspects of housing coordination. Your thorough knowledge of Housing Administration policies, procedures, and programs will ensure seamless communication and support for residents, parents, campus departments, and the public.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate all housing-related activities including hospitality, conferences, communications, logistics, keys, room turns, custodial and maintenance coordination, and case management.Provide continuous and reliable information to residents, parents, and campus departments.Oversee office workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.Offer clerical support for the general office and handle additional duties as needed.Why You'll Love It:

Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require a knowledge of business mathematics beyond basic arithmetic. The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.Key QualificationsBachelor of Arts or Science Degree in a related field is preferred.Customer service experience communicating by phone and email.Licenses/Certifications RequiredValid California Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 10 days of hire.Compensation and BenefitsStarting salary upon appointment is not expected to exceed $4,279 per month.Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.San Diego State University offers a rich benefits package that constitutes a major portion of total compensation.
